A few days ago I updated to Big Sur public beta 8, and I realized that when I try to send a message, it says not delivered. I tried logging out of messages, and when I try to sign in, it works for about 5 seconds and then shows me the log in screen again. when I try to log into FaceTime, it just doesn't work. I try using my Apple ID on other computers and it seems to work fine
cannot log into Messages and Facetime in Big Sur
I contacted apple support, the problem was that my iMessage was blocked for some reason
I am having the same problem, how did you get it unblocked?
I am also having this problem, I haven't been able to use iMessage or FaceTime on my MacBook for like a month now.
I am having the same problem, I had this problem since Catalina, and now still the same problem in Big Sur
I ended up calling Apple Support and they quickly fixed the problem for me. I guess this is the only way to get it fixed, as they did something on their end.
Yes! Calling Apple and unblocking Facetime is the only best option available. The reason this happens is to protect your account during inactivity. So if you don't use these services, they will timeout and become unavailable.
Thanks to the first guy/girl who gave the solution here! :)

Hello!
Yes, I also called support and they solved that for me. It took them about 2 minutes to do this.
I just have one more question : in Imessages, I am not able to send ANY kind of message. I choose friend who has Iphone,
than it appear read name in the field on the very top. Does anyone knows why this is happening?
Thanks,
Dusan
