Newbie Issue: Where to find answers

Hello everyone

I am a newbie in learning Swift and programming in general. I have been following different courses and been enjoying my journey so much but I have a little question. Even though there are a lot of free content online, I don't know where to ask questions and where to interact with beginners and maybe more experienced developers.

I mostly Google my problems and even a little answer I find helps greatly most of the time, but I don't know where to find communities where newbies (or maybe also more experienced developers) help each other on simple questions and issues. I feel like this forum is rather for more advanced issues so I just wanted to ask. How do you do it?

Any advice is welcome!

Thanks!

And don't forget the last advice: close the thread once you got correct answer.

Good continuation.
Here you are. The forum is done for this.

In the past there was even a beginners section, but no more. So jump in and ask your questions here.

A few advices to properly use the forum:
  • select the most relevant tag depending on your question (don't put Swift everywhere, if it is a SwiftUI or a UIKit question.

  • Be as precise as possible on your problem and show enough code so that others can understand the context; pretty often, the problem is not where you thought it was.

  • When you post code, paste with "paste and Match style to avoid extra blank lines and format with code formatter tool (<>)

  • Explain the result you get and what you expected. And post any crash report or print result you may have.

  • And finally, don't forget to close the thread by marking the correct answer once you got it.

Welcome and good luck.
That sounds good thank you!
