What is the best way to provide user feedback on El Capitan?

I have been using El Capitan on a production machine and have the abilty to provide a good deal of user feedback. What is the best way to get information to the folks who would like it?

https://bugreport.apple.com if you have a developer account.

These forums (if not a developer, one may forward the error)

Feedback Assistant Program which is installed by default on your system (just search spotlight for feedback assistant)

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Diagnostics & Usage > Verify that Send diagnostic & usage data to Apple is checked ON

Feedback Assistant is broken on my GM version of El Capitan.

Yes, mine says it's for Yosemite 10.10.4 beta.

If you can provide exact details then I can file a bug report on your behalf. What is broken? Is it still not working in the 10.11 (15A282b)? Screenshots, error messages, et al. are required to help me to help you to help Apple. 😉

That's a kind offer Tommy - as I understand it though, the bug reporter (the one you linked to) has been opened up to Public Beta testers for a couple of months now. I think what you wrote was true at the time you wrote it however.

Good to know. Either way someone ought to report it. The issue is not going to fix itself.

True 'dat 🙂
