App icon in Launchpad displays bigger than others

Hi Everyone.

Can anybody give me a tip where to look for solving this wrong app icon display in Launchpad.

I created an .icns file with all needed icon sizes according to Apple guide but after manually implementing this file into the app I received that this new icon displays bigger than others in Launchpad.

How to fix that?

How much bigger, if you could measure for instance Xcode icon and yours.

Some icons are transparent on some parts of their borders, making them look smaller.

In my case, the Launchpad icon is 256*256
Xcode is the same size but looks like 230*230

Thank you for the reply.

I think it will be easier just to look at it: Screenshot.

Possibly because I have a canvas with 1024px and the icon size is 1024px as well. But how much smaller I should make an icon on the canvas to fix that?

I am not sure there is any anomaly.

I compared with other icons in my case:

my own app has the same icon size as yours
the Xcode icon has the same size as the Яндекс.Диск example you show.

I suspect that the Яндекс.Диск icon was drawn with a transparent outer circle

Claude, and thank you again.

Look at the bigger Screenshot: from this point you should mention that all icons in Big Sur style have the same size and only Ace Link stands out from them...
