Recognize the squeeze gesture

Could you clarify the use case ?

• your app is closed

• you squeeze the iPhone

• that opens your app.

But how could it open your app specifically ?

You can detect a shake gesture in your app, but that supposes your app is already active.


In iOS 14, you can add external buttons (with external hardware) to perform some actions (accessibility settings). But I did not see something close to what you look for.
