Big Sur and USB wifi adapter

Common problem. TP Link T2u wireless adapter allows me to grab a useable wifi signal when I'm at work. Big Sur upgrade is not supported. TP Link is no help. Is there ANY manufacturer of wifi adapters that sells a product that is compatible with Big Sur upgrade?
Thanks
John

Hi

i am having same problem. The WiFi card died and damaged the logic board.

what resolution did you find? I am yet to buy a dongle as I can’t find a compatible one.

many thanks

I'm on Monterrey. I recently found a need to get High Gain Wifi for my Mac and after some research, I found there are no wifi adapters after 10.15. MacOS 11 & MacOS 12 are not supported officially. I read the wifi manufacturers are waiting on the chip manufacturers and there's no response from the chip manufacturers. I can't guess as to why. Perhaps MacOS changes make it difficult?

in any case, I did find a work around using a Wifi range extender like the Linksys AC1200 Max (RE6500HG <- high gain version). it connects to the source and provides a local hotspot for it that the mac can connect.

Any USB wifi adapter compatible with Apple Silicon?
