I just got off the phone with Apple and they directed me to this forum (yay).
I created a private key yesterday and when I went to download, the worst thing that could possibly happen... happened! The download didn't happen and I saw this message: "Failed - Virus scan failed"
I try to figure out what the issue is and uninstalled McAfee from my laptop, and still nothing. I tested it out by trying to download different files (photos) and I was still getting the failed message.
So I call Apple today to let them know what happened and they basically tell me that because I'm using Windows, the download wasn't compatible. I did not know this and there should totally be a warning note or something so no one else will experience this. The only other option, besides directing me here, that they gave me was having my developer contact Apple directly from their Apple ID since he has a Mac computer.
Has anyone experienced this? How do I fix it?
