No critical alert prompt is showing up

No critical alert prompt is showing up when i try to request for authorization in my production app.

It is working well when i run it directly from xcode though.

I have already set com.apple.developer.usernotifications.critical-alerts to true and have the entitlement for my app.

Has anyone encountered the same issue?
