How does changing availability affect existing users

Hi there,

My App is currently available in all countries, and has users who have downloaded it in most of these countries.

I want to remove the App from the App store of Country X, however I want users who have previously downloaded it in Country X to be unaffected.

So, they can continue to use the current version of the App, but it would no longer show in the App store of their country (and they wouldn't get further updates).

Will changing the App's availability have this affect? If not, is there another way to achieve this effect?
