When I tried to update macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 11.2.3 , I get:

"Download
failed: An error occurred while downloading the selected updates.
Please check your internet connection and try again."

When do you get this error during download ?

have you checked you have plenty of disk space ?
And of course that your Internet connection is fast enough.

Otherwise, try later at a time of low traffic (after midnight probably).
