iPhone X Acting Odd

My iPhone starts acting odd every time there's a new update available.

My apps will start randomly crashing out, they won't open at all, the entire phone will start shutting off.

I also have to completely reset my phone every time I need to update it, otherwise it won't let me update.

I'm just curious if anyone might know what the issue is.
