App Store Connect Operation Error

Any help on the following upload failure would be helpful.
Not able to upload my latest app version due to "App sandbox not enabled". I haven't changed my sandbox settings but the Boolean value of 'true' seems to now be missing from the entitlements property list.
I would be grateful for any help.

Are you building with Xcode? If so, what version?

If you go to the Signing & Capabilities editor for your app’s target, do you see an App Sandbox entry?

Also, does your app use a single target? Or do you have other targets? And, if so, do any of those targets represent executables (helper apps, app extensions, helper tools)?
