iOS 9 beta 2 battery life?

This might be better placed in the iOS 9 Beta section under Pre-Release, but my experience mirrors yours - Gave iPhone 6 full charge after DP2 and, after the last 20 hrs of normal use, it's now down at 49%. Noticeably less warm too as you also point out.

I'm running ios 9 beta 1 and the battery is so bad would you recommend updating to beta 2 ?? Is the battery will become better???

I ceratinly would update to the second beta! I was able to get a total of 37 hours of moderate usage out of my 6 plus. I had streamed 2.7 hours of netflix and constantly checking email. The Low Power Mode seems to be functioning even better. I turned it on at 20% yesterday at 5PM; was able to stretch it until 1AM at 6%. I watched almost 2 hours on netflix, seems to work great. I am very impressed with the better battery life.

I am having great battery life with beta2, was having horrible battery life with beta 1. Phone is cool to the touch again as well.

After having the phone off the charger and on low power mode for 24 hours with moderate usage; I still have 78% battery; which I think is great!

Light usage on my part and i am currently at 88% after 28.5 hours. 1 hr 26min usage, 27hr 9min standby

I am using an iPhone 6, 64GB, and I'm experiencing the worst possible battery life I've ever had - even for an iPhone!

I cannot use the music player. 10 minutes music play has seen my battery drop 15%. In addition, the device is permanently running hot and I can't seem to pinpoint the source of the problem; it warms up when music is playing, but it gets hot during phone calls and even moderate text messaging.

I really hope there's a third release this coming Friday, as I have a 7 hour flight to get through and I'd like to be able to take my music with me for it!
