Xcode Cloud on VPN?

Will Xcode Cloud be able to connect to our company VPN while testing? We have a set of UI tests that need to be on our company VPN in order to hit certain endpoints - will this be possible?

Same questions as above but for gitlab self hosted. Our security team says the ip addresses range is too large to allow Xcode Cloud to access our VPN. Also why does Xcode Cloud need maintainer access for gitlab? It should just need read only to pull code from repo to build.
