I use several fitness trackers including Apple health, Strava and AllTrails. When I go for a walk or hike the distance recorded is 2-5 times what I actually did and if I zoom in on my recorded path it is super jagged like I’m running like a crazy person in all directions along the path….multiplying the distance I travel. I recently upgraded from iPhone X to 12 max pro and have the same problem. Someone walking with me has no issue.
what can I do to fix this?
