I've noticed that this product, heavily promoted on the ASC forums for many years, is no longer available from the Apple App Store.
Can anyone tell me the reason why the product is no longer supported?
Friends have asked me if it is 'safe' to use.
Is it?

It's still available, and supported, directly from the site. John Daniel answers me when I send email. You are the first person to say that he doesn't reply. I wonder why that might be?
In any case, as it is still supported, who cares?
I have done some checking. I am now aware of your past history with several developers, and have seen posts of yours on various sites and on usenet dating back two or more years, and feel that I know exactly why Mr. Daniel has not, and will not, reply to you. If I were he I would stay as far away from you as possible. In fact, I shall be staying far away from you. This will be my last reply on any of your threads, unless and until you clean up your act. I'm left wondering WHY a chap like you would be sending emails to John Daniel. Interestingly, you sound just like him!
I have also seen certain comments on ASC made by user HunterBD concerning not only EtreCheck but also a product named ClamXav. I most certainly agree with what charlesdyer has stated.
