Chromecast issues since ios 14.6 ongoing in beta Ios 15

Hi Shekel, did you find a solution to your problem?, because I've got exactly the same problem since updating to iOS 14.6.. I can't stream anything for atleast 3.5 months now. Netflix, Youtube, it doesn't matter. In the meantime i've updated to iOS 15 and nothing has changed. Still the same problem, and nowhere a solution to be found. One of my relatives got exactly the same Iphone (6S), but still on iOS 14.4, because I told her ofcourse not to update, and everything works perfectly fine. It's very disrepectful that they don't even respond to you, what the hell are you doing Apple? Fix this problem..

Same issue here. Giving up on Apple and going back to Google Android. Terrible consumer service Apple, such a shame you force everyone to buy Apple TV. Bye bye.

This is still a major issue

Ever since iOS 14.6, I cannot cast to chromecast from an iPhone 11 Pro from YouTube, Netflix, DisneyPlus, F1 TV to name a few. The only App that still works is NBC Sports.

The problem is not with Chromecast - it works with older devices running iOS before 14.6 or from PC with Google Chrome

Furthermore, I can no longer cast via my Xbox connection.

I have reset every cache, cookie, the chromecast, the wifi router, etc.

The issue is fundamental with iOS and isn't being addressed with updates.

I have the same issue on my iPad Pro 12.9 2nd generation after updated to iOS 15

I have the same issue. iPhone 12 pro that had iOS 14 (14.6, 14.7 or 14.8 I am not 100 percent sure which one) and the only streaming service that would connect to my chrome cast was Netflix and YouTube.

Now I have updated to iOS 15.1 and I can no longer stream Netflix, only YouTube is working.

This is really annoying, considering going back to Android also.

Same problem, after update from ios 14.2 to ios 15.1 anymore cant connect to chromecast, Google checked and told that there are issue on Apple side and Apple must Fix this issue, as its reported a lot of time !

Augh. Just updated to iOS 15 and now no streaming. Like everyone else on this thread, I can’t find any info on how to fix it. I have a 12 and was fine until yesterday just after updating iOS. Wish i would have read this before. this phone is becoming a brick already.

I was having the same issues with my 1st gen Chromecast and my iPhone 12 running on iOS 15.1.1

here are all of the things I did to FINALLY get my Chromecast working from my phone

• update all of my Google apps on my iPhone (Google home, chrome, gmail, etc… everything google)
• ensure all location networks in privacy setting are switched on for all apps
• restart iphone
• restart router
• unplug tv and Chromecast
• factory reset Chromecast and setup device through Google home

all of that did the trick and now everything is working again. I hope this works for others!

For me it has worked by going to Home app settings and clicking Clear saved wi fi networks and then do a factory reset.

The only solution is a factory reset. Bought a new iPhone and reset my old one. The old one works again with chromecast but obviously this shouldn’t be the solution.

Turn off private relay for that network. Mine is now working.

i am Also facing Similar Issue , while casting anything the Sync with Mobile got disconnected and Streaming is Independent , i have Raise the Complaint to Apple Support but Still no Solution ....this is Really not Accepted
