Hey guys, facing the issue that scanned documents on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with Files app are pretty bad quality. Guess it started with iOS 15 beta 3.
Unfortunately issue still persists with current non beta iOS 15 release. It‘s the same on iPad OS 15.
When I launch ‚scan with iPhone’ using Preview app on macOS quality is good as always. Hence looks like issue is related on files app or PDF processing on iPhone.
Have anybody else seen the same?

I’m having the same issue. Scanned documents usually have a resolution of about 620x900px. That’s way too low.

I'm having the same issue on iOS 15 GM. Scanner version is "1.3" and Encoding Software is "iOS 15.0 (Build 19A346) Quartz PDFContext" Scans look normal before saving (before encoding) but after saving, they get low resolution and really low quality. The output file size is much smaller than before. I haven't scanned documents in notes app before but for now they look better. When I save the scanned document from notes to the files app. The Version and Encoding software are the same and resolution and size are roughly the same. So this means the issue is with scan engine and files app combination. Edit: I'm having this issue on iPad pro 2017 and iPhone SE 2016
I have the same issue on 12 Pro Max. If scanning using the Notes app the quality is fine. This is beyond annoying as I use the Files app to scan because I hate the white padding the notes app adds to every scan.

before ios 15, scanning using the files app has been great. Clear scanned documents. Crystal clear like the camera
after ios 15 update, the resolution for each scanned documents is way too low. Blurry .
if anyone has any solution, please let me know
