In order to develop apps on Macs running macOS Monterey, you must use Xcode 13 which includes the latest SDKs for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS. If you need to build your apps against the iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, or tvOS 14 SDKs, you must continue to use Xcode 12 on either a dedicated Mac or a separate disk volume running macOS Big Sur.
