We are updating our app and want to introduce recurring subscriptions as part of our monetization strategy. We want to have a freemium model where users can access the basic functionality of the app for free.
A paid Subscription will get user access to premium features in the app (which will not be available to them if they choose to remain on the free version) along with the user getting an increased number of rental listing on our app. If they choose to remain on the free plan they will receive only 1 free space.
We already have a live app and an existing user base who have more than 1 rental listing on our platform. Will we have any issues if we plan for the transition of our existing users (who want to continue to have more than 1 listing space) to the paid plan ?
Also will we have any issues since some items of the feature set becomes gated with the introduction of subscriptions.
