I just installed beta 8 this morning and I can no longer connect to my LG 4k screen via a usb-c-hdmi cable.
The cable has worked fine for the last year and works fine in me Lenovo t13.
I tried a usb hub with an hdmi port and that still does not work.
I've restarted, reset pram etc.
airplay to the monitor works but is laggy.
any suggestions on getting hdmi connectivity working again

I also lost connection to my External monitor. connected through thunderbolt, Sucks too I really needed that screen to get some work done. Now Im literally doing CAD on my 13".... Yea. thanks Beta 8
Same for me. Monitor Dell U2415 that worked fine until before beta 8 either using USB-C/DP and USB-C/HDMI adapters. Same error for 4K Hisense Smart TV using the USB-C/HDMI adapter. With this Mac Os 12 operating system, updates are often late in being released. With Mac Os X, updates were released almost weekly and we already had the final version in late September. I hope Apple will solve it as soon as possible
