Safari 15 no sounds (Unhandled Promise Rejection: EncodingError: Decoding failed)

Since updating to Safari 15 all websites using the CreateJS/SoundJS library do not reproduce any sounds on click and the error "Unhandled Promise Rejection: EncodingError: Decoding failed" appears in the inspector on page load.

Other browsers work just fine (e.g.: Firefox, Chrome) and all browsers, including Safari, work in iOS.

Has anyone got the same issue?

We've had the same issue with JS games across multiple Apple devices running 10.14 or later. Also getting the same error on Safari in iOS.
