My organisation purchased an app that was developed by an individual with an individual developer account but now we are being told the transfer cannot happen unless the seller converts their account to an organisation account. Is that correct?
We are confused on this because the sole proprietor would not meet the criteria for an organisation account. Any clarification would be very much appreciated.
hi, if you hired a contract developer to develop apps for distribution on your behalf, your organization has to add that individual developer in your development team in your account on the developer website so you can access membership resources, your organization’s name will be listed as the seller if you are distributing apps on the App Store.
