Apple has done so many clever and innovative things with emojis… can someone develop some for kids/people with disabilities? Maybe separate from regular emojis? Such as how the Animojis are separate from the regular emojis. Looking for ASL signs or pics for help hungry, thirsty, stop, wait, mom, dad, want, etc…. I bet there would be grant money available for developing this through ADA or IDEA. I already have almost all parents using Apple products for AAC apps. As students age, it would be a great transition to iPhones if we could have them text pics or ASL signs to communicate to family, rather than the cumbersome, multi-step heavy, option of going through AAC apps on phones. They are too complicated for most kids/teens with disabilities that I work with. This would be such a big deal- Especially since iPhones allow for locating the person using the phone. You all are geniuses- I am kinda surprised this hasn’t already been done. Huge marketing bonus too- that Apple is the first to be “different ability” innovators - iPhones for ALL. Hoping someone can get this going. Thank you for your time & consideration.
