My trackpad gives the effect of "clicking away" to another screen although I don't touch it. The work window suddenly becomes light grey and I need to click on it twice in order to perform any action. I have no idea why this occurs when there is nothing else that is "clicked".
It's a major workflow disturbance and it happens every couple of minutes. Hope you guys can help!

I did, but the only solution they are coming up was updating to the latest OS. While this is all well and good, some of the software I use is not yet optimised for it so I cannot just switch. The issue seems to be in the software and it continues, unfortunately.
