So I have had my Toyota for about a year now and everything has always paired with my iPhone perfectly up until about 1 month ago. At that point, YouTube stopped operating properly. Now when I use YouTube in my car and it is connected to Bluetooth it glitches out. When playing a video it plays it back at 2x speed and cuts in and out. However, when I check the playback speed on the app it says it is playing at normal playback speed.
When I disconnect my phone from Bluetooth then YouTube is playing fine. It is not choppy and it is not playing at 2x speed. When I am connected to Bluetooth and I use the YouTueb Music app, it works just fine, it is only the YouTube app that is not working properly with my vehicle.
So far I have uninstalled YouTube and re-installed it (tried this numerous times) and that did not help. I restarted my phone (tried this numerous times) and still got nothing. I have turned my car off and back on and still, nothing. What else can I do to get this working again?
