Hello everyone.
We recently noticed a very strange behaviour with the formatting of app titles. We have several apps in the store all of which adhere to the 50 characters limit on titles. However, some of them get truncated because the first line ends before the character limit is exhausted.
For example, we have two apps with absolutely identical character count and word counts, but they display very differently in the store search results:
First:
PCV Theory Test UK
2016 for Bus Drivers
Second:
LGV Theory Test UK 2016 for
HGV Drivers
We think this is really weird. Why does the first line in the first app truncate after the word "UK"? Judging by the second app's title, some words (2016 at least) can still go into the first line.
Due to this issue some titles of our other apps get truncated because 1st line breaks too early and the second line cannot accomodate the remaining characters. This is a really annoying issue and we would like to resolve it somehow.
P.S. We were using an iPhone 6 to make this observation.
