Is it possible to apply effects to music playing from Apple Music?

I want to make a app that can change the pitch and speed of a currently playing song. Is it possible with any apple api?

Hello @Dr_Beta,

MusicKit doesn't offer much in the way of applying effects to the audio for a song playing in the Apple Music app.

We'd love to hear more about your use-case though, so we can try to think about the best approach to enable the functionality you want to build in a way that is compatible with our contractual obligations for DRM content.

Would you mind filing a ticket on Feedback Assistant including specific information about the type of user experience you want to achieve?

  • Hello @Dr_Beta,

    When you file a ticket on Feedback Assistant, you can select iOS & iPadOS, and then select the MusicKit category.
