Transition from Unlisted App to Listed App

Hello, I'm trying to publish my app on App Store with a limited access to around 100,000 users.

I'm aware that developers are able to publish their apps as Unlisted App and can give access via download link but my concern is that once the App goes live, can the app be moved to Public from Unlisted without publishing the application again?

I don't want the users that have already downloaded the app to go through the trouble of re-downloading it once the app goes live.

Anybody found how to switch from unlisted to public ?

By choosing unlisted app distribution, I understand that:

Once switched to unlisted app distribution, the app cannot be changed back to public or set to private app distribution.

In our case we created a new app with another bundle which ends with x.x.x.unlisted. When we are ready to go public we will publish the original one.
