What are the next steps in developing my app? I am new to this. Software is complete and the app works. But what do I need to do to make this app public or sell it and make money, etc? What are all the possible next steps? Thanks!

I don't think the FDA approves any smartphone apps (I may be wrong -- if they DO review apps I can imagine it would take years to get approval). But you can submit your app to Apple for review using the procdures documented on the deveoper web site.
