iOS 16 Public Beta 2/3 Are Not Showing Up

I, like some, did get an error when trying to download the initial iOS 16 Public Beta, however after a couple of tries I got it to work. Now fast forward to the add on beta versions to iOS 16. We are now at 3 I believe. My phone this morning only showed that I had just the initial iOS 16 Public Beta available, not iOS 16 Public Beta 3. Of course I thought it’s probably a typo. Nope! I am stuck in this endless loop of getting just the initial iOS 16 Public Beta anytime a newer version (happened when 2 & 3 came out). I partook in the iOS 15 Public Beta and I never had any problems.

Troubleshooting Steps I Have Taken.

  • I deleted my iOS Public Beta profile.
  • Rebooted my iPhone
  • Reinstalled the iOS 16 Public Beta
  • The iOS 16 Public Beta showed up & I downloaded it.
  • I tried to force it to look for an iOS Public Beta 2, or 3 and it keeps saying I am “up to date”.

My wife’s phone is doing the same thing; however my daughters phone are getting iOS Public Beta 2/3 just fine.

I am about ready to say “heck with this” and remove the iOS 16 Public Beta all-together, factory reset my phone and go back to iOS 15 and say good by to the Public Beta program all together.

II need help from any one that has either encountered this or knows how to tackle this. Remember that I have tried everything EXCEPT a factory reset. I really want to avoid that. Other than that the phone is working great on iOS 16 Public Bets (initial). TIA for your help & suggestions!

Beta's aren't for everyone! While it's fun to have the latest software prior to the public release, I can assure you I've had my fair share of issues (especially IOS 16.2)! Beta versions of software are meant to be a testing phase to find the issues with the software prior to widespread consumption. I would imagine they stopped pushing 16.2 Beta it to the public until the bugs are corrected. I currently can not sent email from my mail app, lockscreen camera has no "swipe" functionality (meaning no exit point, once you're in the lock screen camera you live there until you force restart- HAHA), along with many other issues that reared their ugly heads with the update. Apple has been an incredible partner in the past, just have to remember not every user will see the update available at the exact same time, or at all. If you were spared from the experience of the apple beta 16.2 push, consider yourself lucky~
