Since I installed 10.11 release 2, I can't run Xcode. I deleted the version that I had (6.3.2) and downloaded/installed the beta for 7. It still does not run and it still thiinks that I have 6.3.2 installed. Any insight to this problem?
I can't start Xcode under OS X 10.11
OK, while I'm not yet having XCode 7, here's how you can start XCode 6.3.2 under El Capitan:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/MacOS/Xcode </dev/null &>/dev/null &
If you have the XCODE icon in your Dock... Remove it from the Dock. Then go into Applications and double click on the XCODE-Beta. It should 'verify' and then install. You can then drag the application to your Dock and it should open and work correctly.
10.11 docs say that only XCode7 is supported. While others have found ways to force 6.3.2 to still run, this might be short lived. Unless XC7 can submit now, that would tend to remove app store rights from anyone using EC before GM.
Same issue can it be fixed from the device
