An App ID with Identifier 'xx.xx' is not available. Please enter a different string.

I'm trying to submit an app to the app store and while ttrying to register the App ID I get this message

"An App ID with Identifier 'xx.xx' is not available. Please enter a different string."

I really don't know what is causing this or the steps to make this work... Please help!

I've been working on this app in Xcode for some time and I realized that with the new Xcode they automatically get an App ID in the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. I'm trying to create a App ID to submit it to iTunes Connect. When trying to Register the app I get that message for the Bundle ID... which has to be the same Bundle ID inside Xcode correct? If so, it is correct.

>has to be the same Bundle ID inside Xcode correct?

They should match...whichever you deem 'correct'.

You may want to confirm that actually occured.

Same thing happening to me. I'm very new at this so am following closely.

Same issue happening with me. I had to delete an existing wildcard app id from developer portal and then tried to register a new id with an explicit App ID (bundle id) . However, I am unable to continue and the portal complains that I already have an app id with the same name, which is not the case.

Looks like a bug on the portal.
