Have heard the news that Apple Watch will not get updated to OS 9. Want to know whether the device will still be able to pair with future IOS Updates like 16-17-18? (Especially when they still sell it on their websites)

Add a CommentI can pair my series 3 to an iPhone 7 that is on the latest version of iOS 15 without a problem. When I attempt to pair with a phone on iOS 16, I am stuck on Preparing… indefinitely.
I had a problem pairing my series 3 with my iPhone 14 (updated to ios the 16), at the end of the pairing process appears a message saying that I have no internet connection. I am in a store now and they are telling me that the problem is that series 3 isn’t compatible with iOS 16. Very surprising that two different answers from people working for the same company, it is supposed that they both know what are they talking about. The solution they offer is to buy a new one.
