Renewing Push notification certificate- do I need to renew profile also?

Hi guys. Push notification cert is expiring and I’m planning to renew it, once I reconfigure the new certificate to the identifier (appID), do I need to regenerate the provisioning profile and repackage the app? Or profile regeneration isn’t necessary?

No. The profile doesn’t reference your APNs certificate. It’s only concerned with your code signing certificates.
