Using Directed Advertising in iOS Apps

Hello guys,

can someone please tell me when it will be possible to use directed advertising in iOS Apps? Especially in home automation use cases I see this as a great requirement to send advertising packets to only known BT MAC addresses in specific.

Fore more details about BLE Direct Advertising "ADV_DIRECT_IND" refer to the BT 5.0 Core Spec, Vol 2, Part E, as seen here:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know if you're still looking for an answer to this, but for anyone else who comes across this who might be (like I was earlier), the answer is no, according to apple's accessory design guidelines. You can see them here, there's a section on bluetooth LE with lots of technical info about advertising modes and other relevant things for peripheral developers:
