iPhone Provisioning Problem

When attempting to load a new app that I am developing onto my phone, I got an error saying that I had reached the limit for free accounts despite having a paid developer account. This led me to check the Team field under Signing and Capabilities and I realized that I had been selecting Personal Team rather than the company name. When I change the dropdown to the company name, Xcode reports that the phone is not registered. When I click on the button to register the phone, it gives the following error:

There is a problem with the request entity. A device with number '---' already exists on this team.

Is there some additional step that I am missing to be able to move from a Personal Team to the company certs/profile?

Please create a new test app, with a completely new bundle ID, and then configure that to your paid team, and see if you can get it running on your device.
