16.1, Camera Roll, Mail issue

Curious if there is any news about Mail functionality with the new update? Seems like choosing a picture from the Photos camera roll and emailing it is fouled up. One can go through the steps to select a picture, select Mail as the communication vehicle, and send the email,… however the email never reaches its destination. Conversely if you start in Mail, attach a photo via the camera roll icon, and send, all works as expected. I was stumped and am thinking we’re dealing with a buggy update. The work-around that I have resorted to is to turn off the Send Delay in Settings/Mail. It seems that when an email is sent from the Photos Camera Roll, the process does not allow for the delay that may be established in the Mail settings. With the delay turned on the Photos e-mails just seem to be lost in the ether.
