Expedited Review was granted: how long until In Review?

Dear all,

One of our apps was granted an expedited review after a critical bug which we documented properly in our request. So that's good news.

Now, it has now been 15 hours ago that it was granted, and it's still in status Waiting For Review.

A few years ago we had an expedited review as well, which took about 2 hours to be Ready for Sale.

So perhaps it's just a busy time for Apple (as our last review took 6 days instead of the 1-2 days we got used to in 2016).

Has anybody experienced long review times after Expedited Review was granted, lately?

Should I contact Apple? And if so, what would be the best way to contact them about this?

Best regards

Hi, our expedited review (also approved because of a critical bug) is in "waiting for review" state for 12 days now 🙂 so don't make any assumptions based on your previous experiences.

Update: after 24 hours, it changed to In Review and a few minutes after that to Ready For Sale.

Ramunask, seems you have less luck... I was planning on calling them if it took very long, perhaps this might help you, Waiting For Review for 12 days is very strange especially for a granted Expedited Review, I would think: https://developer.apple.com/contact/phone/

Thanks for the suggestion jeroenb - called them last week. They told that they are going to tell the app review team about my call and will ask them what's the problem. Later that day we got this standart response "At this time, your app review is proceeding normally, and there is no further action you need to take". So apparently writing emails and calling them doesn't help. I am almost 100% sure that this is some kind of a glitch, however without knowing someone at Apple it seems that there is no way to solve this.
