Received this after a review of my app:

Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness

We discovered one or more bugs in your app. Specifically, user cannot register a new account. Please review the details below and complete the next steps.

Review device details:

  • Device type: iPad
  • OS version: iOS 16.1.1

All iPhone apps are required to be functional on iPad. Please ensure that users are able to access your app and its features on iPad at iPhone resolution.

Anybody have any suggestions on this.

My app is a simple one screen app that connects to the website of a restaurant for ordering pick up or delivery.

There is no log in at all on the app, it goes directly to the website.

On the website is has a log in option but is not necessary to use the site. It's only used if someone wants to save addresses for future deliveries.

Unfortunately, the website's security doesn't do user name/password. Instead you log in with email or phone and then, if you've been there before it sends a code to the provided email or phone for you to type in to get access.

Any ideas on how to get around this?

Joel

Beyond the bug issue, I doubt the app will ever be approved even once bugs are corrected. It does not seem to comply with Minimum functionality guideline.

.

4.2 Minimum Functionality

Your app should include features, content, and UI that elevate it beyond a repackaged website. If your app is not particularly useful, unique, or “app-like,” it doesn’t belong on the App Store. If your App doesn’t provide some sort of lasting entertainment value or adequate utility, it may not be accepted.
