Currency Conversion used for sales in foreign currency

Hello,

Suppose I am an US based app developer and have an USD account registered with the App store. However, I have sales in foreign app stores. Which exchange rate is used to convert the foreign currency amount of sales into USD? Is it simply the current foreign exchange rate or do the pricing tiers play any role?

For example, If I offer an in app purchase product in the first pricing tier (corresponding to USD 0.99 in the US App Store) and there is a purchase of this product in Canada (corresponding to CAD 1.19 in the Canadian App Store), will I always get paid out USD 0.70 or the USD amount of 70% of CAD 1.19 converted at the current exchange rate?

Thanks!

It is the current exchange rate on the day when Apple makes the payment to you. So NO, you do not always get $0.70 in the scenario you describe.
