Hello! I am a student interested in joining however I only have an iPhone and no Macbook. May I be able to use another Open Source Software? Would that affect my competition results in any way?

you will need a Mac for the app creation process.
Additionally, when submitting your app for the Swift Student Challenge, please note that you may include third-party open-source licensed code and/or public domain images and sounds, with credit and an explanation of why they were used.
