Hey, I am trying to get XCode to install on my Mac Mini. I recently updated to macOS Monterey 12.6, which according to https://developer.apple.com/support/xcode/ is sufficient to run XCode 14. But when I go to the App Store it says that I need a newer macOS version. Any suggestions on how I can install XCode 14?
App Store says XCode 14 requires macOS 13
Go to the download area of developer.apple.com and click the More link.
Xcode 14.3 requires MacOS 13. But you can install Xcode 14.2 on MacOS 12.6.
All versions of Xcode are available here: https://xcodereleases.com/
Hi! I am experiencing something similar. I am on MacOS 14.5 but I get the following screen after installing Xcode 14.2
But I am on a mac where MacOS 13 is not supported. How can I avoid that screen? Why cannot I continue using an old version on my older mac?
