Build input file cannot be found: Did you forget to declare this file as an output of a script phase or custom build rule which produces it?

Hello,

I cloned this repository, but when I tried to build it, I faced an error related to the entitlements list. I attempted to resolve the issue by removing the DerivedData folder and rebuilding, but then I received errors indicating that packages such as RxSwift and Maya could not be found.

I then closed the Xcode and reopened it, but the original entitlements list error reappeared when I tried to build the project again. Appreciate any help.\

Thanks in advance!

An entitlements file is one of a small group of project files that are not identified to the compiler/build utilities via the normal project file list (what you see in the navigator panel on the left). Instead, they're identified in Build Settings, with an absolute or relative path.

When you copy an Xcode project, it can happen that the build setting does not resolve to the new location of the file.

The easiest way to fix this is to go into the build settings, make sure you've selected a sufficiently detailed display option, then type "entitlements" in the filter field. That should show you at most a couple of build settings, one of which will be the path to the entitlements file. Click on the data field for that setting for that target, and enter a corrected path.
