I thought my computer had been hacked because one of my file names had changed to a bunch of scrambled letters and numbers. And when I went to SAVE AS it led me to the FILEPROVIDER folder (hidden folders within my USER folder on the finder). I saw the folder in there and deleted it, thinking it was some sort of virus. Since then, my computer has been syncing old files back onto the Google Drive. It's my work Google Drive so I am hoping I haven't messed the entire thing up.
Have I now ruined anything? Do you think the new syncing is overwriting files? It seems to have synced A LOT of files and I'm hoping this isn't a problem. I wonder if I have deleted things. I have no way of checking because I can't remember what's meant to be there and what's not.
