I have yet to go to the App Store and find what I’m searching for, specifically by name. Apple is a joke, If it wasn’t for the fact that most studios use Macs I’d be a dedicated p.c. user. I more and more find out that I’m wasting my time and money!
App Store searches terrible even when I search the direct name of the app
Perhaps the app you are looking for isnt in the app store. Many apps arent especially the productivity/professional ones(i think this is true for PC too?). To allow installs from the web go to system settings>Privacy and security>set Allow applications downloaded from to app store and identified developers. I am unsure whether you are asking how to install apps or merely commenting on the app stores lack of content. Sorry if i misunderstood.
I'm in education and health care, so thank God I got out. The app store is one of the many frustrations. I'm trying to update an old Mac for my wife for one specific piece of software...
TRY SEARCHING FOR MACOS MONTEREY or any of the OSes. You can find it via google, then open the link in the app store, but it won't even show up in Apple's search. THEN, when you try to install it, it says the update is unavailable. OS12. MACOS 12, unavailable in the Apple app store....
