Cannot select build for version

Hello,

In App Store Connect I currently can't seem to select a build version for my next app version in preparation. The popover loads and shows my builds, but all radio buttons are greyed out and not clickable.

I only noticed this after I saw that my usual build workflow via fastlane failed with this error:

The provided entity includes a relationship with an invalid value - The specified pre-release build could not be added. - /data/relationships/build

However I couldn't find any data issue on my side. Is there some ongoing server problem or what might cause this?

Thanks, Timo

For those ending up here with the same error message: I accidentally only had internal testing builds for my version available, which were not suitable for a release version. So, my fault, just not very easy to see in the Web UI.

We have an in-app-event running tomorrow and the day after, which was approved for the previous app version. Could this be related?

how is that controlled?

I am not able to select the build as the radio button is greyed out. And also cannot go with testflight release by external testing option as there it says no build available. However, under internal testing the build is ready to test state.

Please help if anyone know how can this be fixed

If you distribute through Organizer, you should select "App Store Connect" instead of "TestFlight Internal Only". You will still be able to TestFlight the build before releasing it.
