Customers are reporting after the update to mac OS Sonoma 14.2 bitmap images have a black background! When we run the same application on Sonoma 14.1.1 the bitmap images appear as expected
Like I said at the beginning, it happened after upgrading to Sonoma 14.2 so it introduced the issue.
Can you reproduce this in a brand new Xcode project that just displays the asset?
Does the behavior change if the app (either your app or the sample project in #1) is built with Xcode 15 vs. Xcode 14?
Either way, a bug report via Feedback Assistant with a reproducing sample project seems like the best way to proceed. Please post your feedback ID here in this thread for reference!
What is the format and size of the image file? There is a known Sonoma bug involving icns files at certain sizes.
