Can a per-app VPN filter Safari traffic?

Hi, I'm looking into the per-app VPN on iOS and I see its for managed apps installed from a MDM. Can it be used for Apple apps, i.e. Safari, so the traffic can be inspected to decide if it should go via the VPN backend or direct to the internet?

Thanks, Dave

Yes. However, you can’t target Safari like a normal app. Rather, you configure this using the SafariDomains property in the com.apple.vpn.managed.applayer payload.

Thanks for the answer Quinn.

Can you target Safari via the NETestAppMapping key in the info.plist if its an Enterprise build?
