"This code has already been redeemed" in App Store.

I downloaded El Capitan Beta 2, and for some reason, I had to re-format the disk. Which is no big deal, because it is a knock-around partition, and I had nothing really valuable on it.

Now when I go to re-download the beta on the developer website, and it opens in the App Store, and redeems the code, it tells me that "This code has already been redeemed". I have tried to refresh the page in Safari, and tried it in a different browser (in case of cookies). I have no idea what is going on, or if other people have had this problem.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Open up the app store, hold the option key and click on purchases. You should see

a download button next to the El Capitan entry.

I am having trouble trying to download El Capitan a second time. My App Store screen shows OS X 10.11 Developer Beta as "DOWNLOADED" but the downloaded button is grayed out and not accessable. I tried going to purchases while holding the option key, no help. How does one get another code to download, or is there an installer file somewhere on my machine. If so, I have not been able to locate the file/folder. Any advice appreciated.

If you didn't delete it from the first time, it'll still be in your applications folder.

Thanks, after checking the applications folder for the umpteenth time today I found it in "Install OS X 10.11 Developer Beta". I guess I overlooked it because it was truncated. To "Installl O....." I've learned to expand folder names next when searching for something you know must be there.

THANK YOU!
